According to a TikTok video Rizzo posted in 2021, Saget sent her an Instagram DM and at first, she didn’t plan on responding. The video, which garnered over 2M views, ended with a slideshow of their 2018 nuptials.
Apparently, Saget first reached out to their mutual friend to find out more about her before sending the message. The said friend’s fiancée gave Rizzo a heads up about the “background check” but the “Full House” star sealed the deal by asking her to attend one of his shows and go for lobsters and burgers.
